Frank Meermans, Geoffrey Timmermans and Ad van den Brand are the ‘invisible’ forces behind the ICT network of Janssen de Jong Projectontwikkeling and Bouw. Together with the ICT colleagues from Business Premises and Caribbean, they ensure that all hardware and software in the group works flawlessly and that information can be exchanged digitally without any problems and safely.
As project manager ERP, Frank (51) focuses mainly on optimizing software and business processes. Goal: “To make working for colleagues as pleasant and easy as possible and to ensure that we get as much information as possible from the systems, so that everyone at all levels can benefit from it”. Frank worked for Janssen de Jong on Aruba for many years. He thinks back to that sunny period with great pleasure. In projects he still has regular contact with his colleagues overseas. Frank consults with Ad and Geoffrey mainly via WhatsApp and, if possible, also on a weekly basis at one of the branches.
Frank really likes his work. “When I was still working for an automation company, I came across a lot of construction companies. Also at Janssen de Jong. Even back then I said: if I wanted to work somewhere, that’s where I would like to work. The human approach really appeals to me. The company motto is ‘People are central’. And that is absolutely right”.
